I’m still not going back to consoles. Up to them if they want my money.
I know these idiots think that this will somehow mean more people will buy consoles but these days I feel it actually means less people will buy your games.
Fuck exclusives.
They lost billions with Concord & Marathon plus there’s the Steam Machine launch that gives them a bad vibe, just let them finish sinking the ship.
I thought Marathon was pretty popular though. Was I wrong?
A flop in relation to what they spent making it.
I haven’t turned on my TV in years, so if they think I’m shelling out 500 bucks plus PSN plus the game costs, they have lost the plot. The days where consoles were basically the only way to game are long gone and have been for about a decade if not a bit longer depending on who you ask. The future is now old men, get with it or get left behind.
I’m not worried, if I ever feel like playing them I’ll do it for free with an emulator some day.
Fortunately for me, there are so many amazing PC games I’d never be able to play them all, so missing out on console exclusives doesn’t matter much anyways.
Oh no.
Anyways…
Was this game any good? Ghost of Tsushima seemed to remain in the zeitgeist for a year or so after release (my impression anyway). I can’t remember anything about this game after it came out.
I liked it better than Tsushima, myself. It probably didn’t catch on because it is pretty similar to its predecessor gameplay-wise.
As long as they don’t delist the ones that are already available for PC, I’m fine with this.
Like this is already a fucking stupid business decision, but if they then also decide that delisting the games they’ve already made available might get them more console sales, I’ll eat a damn shoe. I believe that will actually piss off people enough to do something.
