Hey, I’ve been sitting here in the garage with the car running for hours and nothing’s happening. The car’s gone from 76% battery to 72%. Do I have to wait for it to go all the way to zero?

Do modern cars, even before EVs, have that issue? Isn’t that the point of the catalytic converter?
Yes they do. Catalytic converter is to reduce emissions. It still very much spouts deadly CO into the garage.
