Nolan is really hit and miss. But I’ll watch it.
Not sure where I read that, but hit and miss is a good thing, it means they take risks and try to innovate.
Otherwise you get stuff that’s just OK.
I like watching the misses of good directors, it’s fun to see what they were trying to do.

Yes. He filmed it in IMAX but in a format that isn’t supported by most IMAX theaters. IMAX’s 70 mm film.

Even if you can’t see it in the best IMAX theater, I think Christopher Nolan would rather you watch it in a standard theater than not watch it at all.
Also, The Odyssey won’t be on streaming for a long time, since Nolan has an exclusive contract with Universal. So expect at least 100 days before it becomes available for home viewing.
