Super Mario Sunshine is now available on Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics!

Dark days on Isle Delfino!

Mario, Peach, and an entourage of Toads have come to Isle Delfino—a sun-drenched island resort to relax and unwind. At least, that’s the plan. But when they arrive, someone has made a mess of the whole island and the inhabitants say Mario is to blame! The falsely accused Mario has promised to clean up the island (and his reputation) and pursue the real culprit along the way as he recovers the vanished energy source of the island, Shine Sprites. Use the trusty FLUDD on Mario’s back to tidy up and launch into water-based action, from spraying enemies to flying through the air with powerful streams of water.

Works great on Dolphin and then you don’t have to give Shittendo money every so often to play a 25yo game

This is a bit dumb. Why not just offer the Switch port again? They’re that dedicated to the original limited time only plan for 3D All Stars?

This is like a film publisher creating a limited time Blu-ray release of a title, then putting the VHS version up for streaming.

Because if they sold it, it would be one less reason to pay for NSO. Honestly what Nintendo has done with their classic games since Switch 1 is the exact thing everyone is worried about Sony doing with all their games with the removal of physical. You’ll own nothing, and you’ll love it. Everything must be a subscription so they can keep milking money from a 25 year old game.

Not even selling, just add to NSO the switch version or even both.

Limited time digital games was the last straw for me.

Wow, it wasn’t even there yet? They’re really spreading that content like a half-spoon of jam on the largest slice of bread ever.

Anyway, still not a one time purchase, still a pricy subscription, so fuck that.

They looooooove the drip feed. They do the same thing to their bare bones music service by releasing one game’s worth of songs per month.

The music service needs to be on the god damn Switch itself. It would be great for kids who don’t have phones to use as a music player when they’re studying or whatever.

Remember the 3DS? It came with a freaking media player. One you could load with whatever MP3 file you dropped on the SD card. And you could have it keep playing on the headphones while the console was closed.

Switch 1/2 's OS is so barebones.

The latest Rhythm Heaven/Paradise/whatever has a similar feature, but it’s only for its own soundtrack of course. It has a soudtrack player mode that shuts off the switch’s screen to save battery.

Didn’t Smash Ultimate also have a “music mode”? I think that and Kirby Air Riders (both directed by Masahiro Samurai) had one.

It was in the Mario 3D All Stars, but you needed one of those limited edition GameCube controllers if you want analog triggers for the water spray.

      Prob the same here.

There were no GC Switch controllers when 3D All Stars came out. Unless it was so limited I never even heard about it. They separated the controls into R for the soft pull and ZR for the full click. I can confirm it’s the same here. I believe when I tried my Switch 2 GC controller on 3D All Stars it did not support the analog trigger. But this version actually does support it.

Mario, Peach, and an entourage of Toads

Holy shit, Miyamoto fucking hates Toadsworth and any other Toad (aside from Toadette for obvious reasons) that dares stray from the Toad design.

Because the 73 year old man that hasn’t worked on a Mario game in a decade had the final say on the NSO description of a Mario game? I swear some people are just looking for any reason to complain about him. Come on man.

Is this any different from the limited release Switch port?
