€1EURO =$1.15 USD
That’s not really bad, when I was in the EU a couple years ago it was more like $1.30+ to the Euro
But what if it becomes €1 Euro =$1.99 USD?
Then it’ll be an expensive trip to the EU. Hopefully that works out for the locals…

Well according to that measure the us dollar has lost purchasing power every single year since 1955. (excluding 2008). And that’s the most important measure! But it still totally invalidates the point of the meme
