SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - Registrar of Voters Clint Curtis announced he will be replacing current Assistant Registrar of Voters Brent Turner with Tina Peters next month. Curtis confirmed his plans with Action News Now in a text message.

Peters is the former county clerk in Mesa County, Colorado who was convicted on 7 counts of election interference in August 2024. She had her 9-year prison sentence commuted by Colorado’s governor after President Trump threatened to withhold federal funding.
