Bazzite Deck 44 Launches Today Don’t worry desktop users, there’s major improvements in here for you too! Hello folks! It’s been a hard few months with over 700 commits just to the Bazzite repo. I’m beyond proud to be able to announce that we’ve finished our biggest update in the project’s history and are landing Bazzite 44 for deck images today!     Partial HDMI 2.1 FRL support is huge (even if it’s from upstream)! I finally have 12bit color on my home theater PC! Content looks amazing now 😍

    Unfortunately, it does flicker occasionally if VRR isn’t enabled, but that’s why it’s behind a debug flag to begin with. I can’t wait for Linux 7.3 to complete the implementation.

    Love Universal Blue! Every distro is a joy to use. Oh man, unRAID is moving to uCore as well. That should be a positive change.

    I’ve moved on from Bazzite in my own Linux journey but it is so cool to see that team making strides.
