Our original plan was that she would grow in her high paying job to support us both, I’d be a stay at home dad who volunteers 6-10 hours a week and cares for the home.

Fast forward 4 years and she switched careers. Now, I make 85% of our income but we both work 45-60 hours a week. We are very behind on household chores and both too exhausted to handle them. No child because of cost and time. No dog for the same reason.

Whilst I would, my gf has a pretty decent job and it fucking sucks for both of us because the demands on her time are outrageous.

If I cook something for her lunch it often doesn’t get eaten.
