Anyone that gets caught doing this should absolutely gamble on a jury trial. You’re constitutionally entitled to it, and the odds of there being at least one person in there who fucking hates this shit is pretty damn high.
But that person better keep mum during jury selection or they’ll get removed from the jury pool.
If I’m on that jury, I’m definitely voting Not Guilty no matter what.
But also in every other criminal trial, regardless of the alleged offense. Until the Epstein Class are punished, nobody should be punished. Use jury nullification in EVERY trial and grind the justice system to a halt until it addresses the real issues here. It only takes 1/12th of eligible jurors getting on board to derail almost every trial in the country.
(And in civil cases, pretty much just rule in favor of whichever party has less money, regardless of the facts of the case. But that’s less likely to succeed, because civil judgements don’t require a unanimous jury.)
