Which country’s ties has Beijing ever handled with sincerity and goodwill? The Chinese government is suppressing even its own citizens. It’s a reckless dictatorship with the sole interest of preserving its own power.
Xi says this whilst simultaneously funding, supplying and encouraging Russia in its war on Ukraine and hybrid war on Europe. We have a saying for that here: “talking out both sides of your mouth”.
This is mostly true, China will happily treat you with sincerity and goodwill as long as you are willing to overlook what China calls its “internal affairs” and are willing to refrain from “intermeddling” with issues which it considers threatening to its “national sovereignty”.
How is that different from Europe who refuse to deal with countries unless they are pro usa,pro israel or allow them to get their resources cheap?
