Come RAM it in my Arch.
I know this is the hot thing right now all over the internet, but I think it was mostly taken out of context. That podcast that Sam Altman did, he was talking about people running local models on their computers. It wasn’t him saying nobody should have RAM or whatever hyperbole it’s ballooned into. With that said, as someone that runs local models, I disagree with him regardless.
It takes down his hilarious meltdown to the level of just mundane meltdown of capitalist angry at people using cheaper and better alternatives.
