I do that too, but because I’m depressed.
When I’m not, I’m out of the bed before my alarm rings.
I have this problem. What to do? Serious
Wellbutrin and Prozac.
I wake up like 30 minutes before I need to get up, so I can relax in bed, drinking coffee and looking at memes for 30 minutes, before I have to face the day.
Don’t start thinking right away. Focus on small things like turning on the light, moving your toes then your foot, leg, arms. Try to stand up, try to stretch move a bit, focus on your movement, do amorning ritual then you’re ready. Don’t overthink in the morning, for me that’s key.
I have the same. I’ve been considering using my “dumb” alarm clock as my primary alarm and moving my phone to the other side of my room or something and use it as a backup alarm. I usually spend that time scrolling around while lying in bed, might as well have slept longer. Sometimes I just keep on daydreaming which will not be solved by this fix tho.
I set my alarm 30 minutes early. Not to get up on time, but to signal to my cat that cuddles are available.
