I woke up to my cat laying on my chest gagging with eye contact, luckily she didn’t puke but puking on hard floors is quite the luxury

I have one rug in the living room. One time my cat, who is terrified of guests, came all the way downstairs to the living room to puke on the carpet while we had guests over. Once the deed was done, she skittered back upstairs to not be seen again until guests left.
She was just letting you know how she felt about your guests.
The other day the house cat came into my room, coughed up a huge one, and then casually sauntered out (refusing to elaborate.)
