Why would you even for one second think a company like Microsoft is focused on privacy? Microsoft has been known to have spyware in all of their programmes since Windows 7 so why would you use anything from them if you have data to protect?
The bigger are you, the juicier the squeeze.
Microsoft is and has always been the number one vector of viruses and malware on the planet.
