I still don’t want to be dead or in prison for refusing to go out of my way to support bombing and and deliberate starvation of children.

I’m still trying to find others who share these concerns.

It should be easy enough to get rid of ICE, but I’m still trying to figure out what strategy could help with the next stages after that.

I also don’t understand how a community can call itself “antiwork” and completely give zero fucks about my fear of being killed or imprisoned for refusing to work for the military industrial complex. I’m not ready to give up yet on somehow making it click for you people, or at least finding some helpful people among you.

Not trying to antagonize. I don’t know that I agree with/understand the labels you’ve chosen. You clearly identify as a progressive, but that’s typically used by people who share the politics of Bernie. And if your ideal is star trek, that’s what many (maybe even most) actual socialists want. You put quotes around the other 3 labels but none of them would use that exact label for themselves, and the people who would agree the 2 labels to the right typically wouldn’t call Bernie a socialist.

    • The labels probably seem wrong to a lot of people and it’s really difficult to get the labels perfect, because people intentionally mix up terms like this and conflate them and stuff.

Progressive - just pushing progress forward, Bernie claims this but doesn’t appear to do it

“Socialist” in quote marks - what most people I’ve encountered would call Bernie and his voters

“Moderate right” and “far right” in quote marks - because right and left are pretty meaningless terms but also the basis for where I’m positioning these groups horizontally
