For anyone reading this, just look how they treat billionaires, like Jack Ma, and union organisers in China and the West. In China both billionaires and unions are subordinate to the state, in the west the state treats billionaires and union leaders very differently. If you ask a liberal why China is authoritarian they will talk about how they treat billionaires but never talk about how they treat union labour.
