    If I recall correctly, this guy started working there after he retired from a government job. Just bored and wanted something to do, and he credited it with keeping him active enough to live as long as he did.

      Isn’t it sad we have no third spaces for him to engage in and find meaning by helping his community instead of shareholder profits.

        Hey, if you are willing to pay $7000 a month, you can always move into an assisted living facility. They have lots of nice third spaces and communities. But only if you can pay.

          I got paid $9 an hour to hose down the furniture in the alzheimer’s wing of one of those places. Man those places are bleak.

            Yeah. Everything around eldercare is corrupt. They charge like everyone has a personal nurse 24/7 while having 1 untrained minimum wage employee over 40 people.

            But hey, the owners get to drive Bentleys
