EA is laying off an unknown number of individuals from across its Battlefield teams, including workers at Criterion, Dice, Ripple Effect, and Motive Studios, IGN understands.

  To go along with that, it’s also a “good” time to lay people off.
  
  “Everyone” is laying people off for “efficiency,” so it’s like a free pass.
