Americans pay for everything these days.
It’s like, you go to work, then just donate your pay to someone else. So you’re working for someone for someone else.
Literally the same workforce concept as how labour camps or prison work is operated. However, they don’t pitch freedom in anyway so people tend to realise it’s not cool.
Hi there, Europe here. We are going to pay for this too. And we haven’t really started this war at all (although I know there some governments supportive of it…)
Europe has certainly been involved in decades, if not centuries of everything leading up to this however. You might not have started this specific incident, but you’ve been fanning the flames for a very long time.
Anyway look on the “bright side” you only have to worry about losing a bit of money, people in Iran are losing their lives and their families.
We are going to pay much more for this than Americans. Americans knew how much closure of Hormuz strait would cost us and it only would make sense to respond in kind, like have a ship get stuck while passing though Panama Canal. Obviously won’t happen since we’re obedient vassals.
Americans knew of the cost. But their moronic president didn’t, and he refused to listen to his yes-men, who even tried to stop this a bit.
I have my own little conspiracy theory that Trump’s lead up obsession with the black gold being more domestically drilled and churned had to do with disrupting the Middle East’s supply to Europe on the back of Russia being sanctioned.
Other places in the world will be impacted, but not as much as Europe. He has also been pushing this whole narrative of “We don’t need the EU. The EU needs us!” and what better way to initiate all that build up by throwing a match onto the Middle East, for reasons yet to be explained.
If I’m right, it’s very important that the Middle East doesn’t get baited into regional conflict. If that happens, the guy that started it will walk away, “We want to keep America safe. In the meantime, we’re happy to sell our oil to Europe…for a price… Even though we got South America reserves now too…”
I think the failed leasing of reserves off Alaska is intentional too. It’s letting the industry know it’s there, despite expect ing no buyer for now.
Europe should’ve started dependency years earlier, but hindsight. No one would ever know this would happen just a few years ago.
Hopefull I’m wrong lol. Most conspiracy theories always are, by a lot.
