GDC 2026 is going on and Valve are doing some talks giving more info on lots of things - like how games will be Verified for the Steam Frame and Steam Machine.
The most interesting thing is that according to the new flowchart, if a game is not playable on Deck due to poor performance, it is automatically considered not playable on Frame (in standalone mode) for the same reason.
Doesn’t mean the frame is weaker, because the frame has to do more rendering and at higher resolutions.
Just means you won’t be seeing non-VR games playable on Frame which were not on deck.

There are a ton of games playable on deck.
Yes there are a great number, I wasn’t attempting to imply otherwise.
Just making an observation that the chart gives a glimpse into what the actual performance of the Frame will be :)
