      Also not knowing how broad the definition of ‘motorcycle’ is.

      Or selecting traffic lights: do you have to select only the ‘lights’ part, or the whole thing?

    Yeah, but those prompts are used to train algorithms on exactly that, further diminishing that gap. So probably not the best skill to hang your humanity on.

      I think that’s my favourite “it sounds like a crazy conspiracy but it’s literally just the case” factoid. Sadly with GenAI it’s becoming less surprising to the average person haha.

        The real “sounds like a conspiracy” bit is that current captchas (the ones where it just ok’s you automatically) dig through your browser history for “suspicious activity”, and with google being the one’s behind the “service”, it’s absolutely feeding into their already massive data harvesting.
