    So true. This reminds me of the classic conundrum:

    1. On the one hand, most cats don’t like to be flipped over and cradled on their backs like babies.
    2. But on the other hand oh looooook at him wid his widdle toe beans and fuzzy belly my cutesie cutesie widdle baby boo he’s so cuuuuute

      I found my cat as a maybe 4wk old kitten, wet and flea infested on the side of the road. He grew up with Australian Shepherds as his siblings, and his favorite play move with them is to flip upside down and let the nibble his belly while he gently bats their muzzle. I may have reprogrammed a cat.

      huh. i just drape the kitten across my arm, kind of like a dali painting of a cat. they tend to be very happy with it when their head lines up with my hand, or better in reverse when their head lines up with my shoulder.
