Honestly the post-revolution government of Iran has been very reasonable with foreign policy. Not exactly a hermit nation but just kind of a “fuck off and leave us alone to do our thing”.
(Of course there’s also the domestic repression and support for militant groups like Hezbollah. They’re certainly not overall good people by any means.)
Hezbollah only exists because of massacres like Sabra and Shatila along with the other massacres utilizing the Dahiya doctrine during the 6 Israeli invasions
