It’s a fun take on the idea. I’ve inadvertently “remade” a bunch of stuff. Happens.
This is my first, full binge of TNG ever, so it’s all new to me.

If I recall correctly, this is kinda how the ambient sounds were recorded for this episode. The guy recorded his own stomach. He didn’t tell his co-worker where the sound came from until after the episode was finished, to avoid grossing him out during editing.
