I think the one who took the picture was using a telephoto lens. His thought process was probably along the lines of “I have a good 30 second head start on these guys, and the first one to go is probably the guy tripping over himself in the back closest to the bear.”
I respect the guy who’s still carrying the camera. I’d have yeeted that the moment the bear moved towards me.
