    Or it means “I see you watch Fox News on a loop and cheer for the deaths of others, but I want to get through this dinner without a scene” because holidays mean landmines instead of family.

      Yeah, sadly people are saying this now because politics are affecting them and they have a platform, both of which haven’t been true for the same people most of history.

    Usually, when people say “not political”, they mean they don’t give active thoughts or decision making in regards to political issues and just passively take it as it comes. Unless I’m wrong and it’s not usually.

        Underprivileged people are the ones who don’t notice. They get fucked so hard every day they don’t have time to think about politics they have to work minimum wage jobs 10 hours a day just to not be homeless. They have no idea what’s going on with politics they just he propagandized by whichever social media they frequent in their spare time

    I used to say I was not political because my vote has literally never mattered and stressing about it was bad for my mental health. I live in a blue state with blue policies and blue local government. Mathematically I’ve never seen a reason to vote and once I did start voting everything I have voted for has been basically no contest.
