along with the strong censoring that has occurred on reddit throughout the years, they have now removed r/all from the app and while using a desktop/laptop browser. instead of being able to stumble upon new subreddits you never knew existed, it wants to curate what you’re allowed to see
Didn’t they do the opposite of this before? Like, there were default subs, then that went away and replaced with All, right?
Initially there were no subs, then the main page got hidden behind /r/all and people were allowed to create their own subs, and the frontpage got replaced with whatever you subbed to.
Those were the good times, when the site was small enough that people helped a kid out to do his homework.
Yeah atheism was default for a long time i think?
