not sure what your taxes+fees are, but it suddenly doesn’t look as such big difference. not sure if what you listed is cheapest that is available on a market there, i am sure you americans generally like bigger cars, but what i chose are really the cheapest (and therefor smallest) available cars on the local market.

you can’t expect luxury limousine for that price, but that doesn’t mean there are no cars in that segment.
