Part of the reason Amazon is so desperate to automate those facilities (aside from the obvious of course) is because in some locals they have actually churned through the entire labor pool and are running out of people.
Expirenced that working in restaurants, we would see the same people apply, hire, fuck up, fire, repeat. Some worked 4-5 times before being blacklisted with management. Became almost impossible to find help. This was 10 years ago though.
