Everywhere across the Anglosphere based democracies we are getting sick of the major parties being in bed with these grubby, filthy companies.

Sadly it feels like they’re going unchallenged as parties on all sides are in bed with them.

Well the majors are either complicit or simply fail to do what’s needed to keep a lid on it. That doesn’t just include tying them to obeying the rules, it includes doing the things the public needs from a good government.

I saw a comment on Shitbook that one of the problems in Australia at the moment is a lack of media scrutiny on One Nation, now that the Coalition is flogged out and it’s spot on. They put Labor and especially Greens to the test or give no decent coverage. As a result the dumber and more emotive people are being farmed.

Unfortunately a lot of the good stuff Labor does is work related and expected of a centrists worker party but they still refuse to address key issues like housing shortages which underwrite the CoL issue and with not doing so, keep losing the primary vote. The dumber and more emotive among the traditional Labor base don’t drift left, they drift right.

I know you’re an Aussie so you’ve seen the same. Labor don’t work for all the people and sometimes struggle to work for all workers. The Greens outshine them in almost every regard outside foreign policy and defence experience and there’s nothing to suggest they couldn’t be good at foreign policy at the very least.
