Valve have pulled the trigger on the Steam Controller's May 4th release date, price included - but Steam Machine and Steam Frame delays mean it'll launch alone.
I’ve been waiting with a broken controller for this, so luckily I saved 120 just in case they were absolutely asinine with it. Can’t say I’m happy with the price, controls being more than 46-60 dollars is insane and even that is pricey imo. Nothing makes sense anymore.
It really doesn’t! PS5 controllers were pricey at $70, much less the $75 they go for now. A month ago or so, I saw one at Walmart on sale for $55 and snatched it up, suspecting that the Steam controller would be too rich for my blood. Glad I did!
It’s at least not as bad as a Switch 2 controller, which is $90 and supposedly doesn’t even work wirelessly with PC.
100 dollars? Fuck me.
Way too expensive for me. I’ll stick with using my PS5 controllers.
