You know they just want to have a parallel reality circlejerk. How does it affect you? I saw that thread and the responses and it was sort of obvious that there was no point in replying because they were trying to antagonize people and then ban them.
Also doesn’t getting banned from .ml communities achieve the same thing as boycotting them? So they have boycotted themselves for you?
I don’t need a squeaky clean lemmy where I can only see posts from people with the same opinion as me. I like the .ml crowd. I don’t agree with them, but they add flavour and a fun twist on reality.
It’s a whole lemmy instance that is like reddit’s r/Pyongyang. It’s funny to watch. It’s like having an ant farm. I’m not an ant, but it’s fun to watch them do their thing.
Thing is, they do that on .ml then in the same breath tell you they’re a general purpose instance and ask for donations for development. That’s the point of this community, to keep showing people that they’re the same people from lemmygrad and hexbear Good Camp echo chamber.
