Maybe BMW can announce a layoff, due to tariffs, of 11k jobs in South Carolina. Then VW can layoff 48k in Tennessee, and Mercedes with 6k in Alabama. Cars made in those plants aren’t subject to tariffs. It’d be incredibly stupid to do that.
