Social network Reddit recently began blocking mobile visitors to its website while pushing them to download the official Reddit app, and it's fair to say that the move is not going down well with users. If you visit reddit.com on your iPhone today, you may see a new popup that can't be dismissed, asking you to "get the app to keep using Reddit".
There are still Lemmy users who go to reddit and reddit users who are exploring alternatives.
Onboarding onto Lemmy isn’t the best experience and a lot of existing redditors are already afraid of change and don’t want to learn a new thing.
I don’t know if there is a website dedicated to making it easier for folks to jump ship but I can say that the amount of content on Lemmy now is much higher than it was when I joined.
