I’d rather pirate it then. Why is it being shut down? Just to save on operating costs of the servers?

NOTE: All multiplayer servers for LEGO 2K Drive will be shutdown as of 05/31/2027. After that time, all game functions requiring online servers will no longer function.

More reason to depise Take-Two. Why should anyone pay for a Take-Two game? Much like KSP2, ship a half baked game with promises and kill it before it ever got off the ground with everyone holding the bag. But you see piracy is “theft”, but outright fraud is not if you’re a multi billion dollar company.
