Yeah I think it makes sense if you’re providing a service but to label the software makes no sense. What if someone from, say, India provides translations or any other contribution. Is the software still European? The answer doesn’t matter so there’s no point arguing about it and so there’s no point labelling it in the first place. On the other hand if you provide a service it is now very important where that service is being operated from, to know what legal rights you have about the data you send to the service.
