I heard about some controversy between the M17 and MMDVM developers. I’m guessing that’s why? What’s the issue?

M17 has been on my radar but I never bought a radio to actually start using it. Based on what Jonathan wrote I’d agree with his decision but that is only one perspective in that matter.
