I hate these people. Yeah, I’m sure demand for older shit is rising as people want to need to upgrade, but are priced out or have availability issues on the newer stuff.

Am I just broken and jaded or does everything the rich dips do look like orphan crushing?

No. Fine wine (allegedly) gets better with time. Meanwhile, I’m praying the caps and fans hold out until the market corrects itself even a little.

I have an rtx 3080 and I don’t think I can upgrade to a better card for the 750 euros I paid for it back then.

Same boat. I last built in late 2024 when the 9800X3D dropped with intention to upgrade my video card in 2025. Guess what video card I’m still running? 😑

No complaints, though. It hasn’t let me down, yet. Just wish you could undervolt in Linux the way you could in Windows. My thermals were better.

Oh you can do 4k at 120fps easily

(*If you use heavy upscaling and frame generation)

(*Oh but, not even the best versions, we lock those to only the most recent cards)

    I upgraded my 1070ti to a Radeon RX 9060.

I use it to play Stellaris, Battlefield 5 and RDR2.

It runs battlefield 6 beautifully. Which is fine except BF6 is shit.

So I think I’ll be good now until the end of time.
