Meta has sold 7M+ Ray-Ban glasses that look identical to normal glasses but can record you silently.

NoPeek detects them using immutable BLE manufacturer company IDs signals that cannot be randomized or hidden unlike MAC addresses.

Detects: Meta Ray-Ban, Snap Spectacles, Oakley Meta, TCL RayNeo, Meta Quest, Apple Vision Pro, Pico VR and more.

    Great question! Key differences:

    • NoPeek detects BOTH smart glasses AND VR headsets (Quest, Vision Pro, Pico, Vive, PSVR etc)
    • Background scanning via foreground service — works when app is closed
    • Distance estimation (~2m ~5m ~10m)
    • Detection history saved locally
    • Configurable RSSI threshold and notification cooldown
    • Smart device grouping
    • Sound alarm on detection

Nearby Glasses is great and inspired some of our detection approach — NoPeek builds on it with more devices and more features.
