    eventually we will put cars on some kind of ground-based guiding track to help with autonomous navigation, which i guess will be simpler than using these video-recognizing chips. and we could also add some cables above the street sothat the cars can recharge while in movement.

      And then start chaining the cars that are going the same direction together so only 1 of them need to run the guiding system

        that would work, but who is going to repair the car when it needs maintenance? perhaps we can work out some kind of communal ownership?

          I suppose that’d be fine. But we’ve come so far away from the traditional car, we should probably come up with a new name for such a vehicle.
