This was completely inevitable and predictable. If the Trump admin had been serious about diplomacy from the start, they wouldn’t have sent two real estate developers who are also Israeli assets to do the negotiations. They hoped the could bully Iran into submission and they completely failed.
I honestly don’t know where it goes from here. The best thing Trump could do is walk away. Just pretend the US won and pull all US military out of the region. But that would anger the Israelis and Trump would be roundly mocked by everyone else for fucking up so badly. On the other hand, winning militarily is basically impossible at this point without a huge influx of US forces on the ground, and even then it would take years to topple the regime.
