So I made a joke a Reddit and got again a ban for excouraging violence. Their automoderation is just a broken piece of shit. I never encourage violence, nor would anyone with half a brain interpret it that way. I’m so fucking tired of walking on egg shells on the internet these days. And it’s not just Reddit. Pretty much any social media feels like it’s cosplaying as 1984 Big Brother. I 'm tired of all the selfsensoring like pdf or s*x. Can we get back to being treated as adults please.

I find the automated AI band thing very offensive. Given how often an AI crap is just playing wrong, it’s inappropriate to use it for something like that. Being told that your comment is violent and basically you’re a bad person and you’re not allowed on this site for three days is pretty jarring, and it’s annoying and insulting. Reddit used to be about the only social media site that didn’t use automated crap like that. They only started when they wanted to try to clean up the site for the stupid IPO. So that’s all why I decided to just not bother appealing or going back and simply delete my account.

Quite true. They don’t want people to be able to publicly express how they really feel, because so many people share the same feelings and it would build.
