The only thing conservative I’ve seen out of this administration is lack of abortion, and removing LGBT rights, everything else is authoritarian which is not conservative.

As a side note conservatives tend to make room for the libertarian right, that room is now gone.

There never was and never will be a “libertarian right”. Conservatism is for conserving a strict top-down hierarchy and always has been.

The libertarian party was literally created by billionaires to advocate for their preferred tax policy without leding people who wanted legal weed or gay marriage. It’s a nonsense ideology

Sure there is. Libertarian-Right = Extreme Selfishness.

That’s why their top issues are shit like “you can’t make me…”

Libertarianism has a left to right bent. I know the popular meme is libertarians are just conservatives that want to smoke weed but there really is a libertarian right.

I’ve been told I’m a secret Republican double agent for decades.

Still independent, still vote for Ds more often than not in national elections. UNFATHOMABLE

The right has always preferred the rule of the few over the many, ever since the days of colonial America and the Loyalists. First, the rule of the King of England. Then, opposing slaves’ rights. Then, opposing women’s suffrage. It has pretty much always been their opinion that the powerless are powerless because they deserve it.
