Self-justification aside, the effect of pirating the games (Fifa gets no money) vs not pirating the games (Fifa gets money) is substantially different.
If you are going to watch a game, Fifa would rather you pirate their game than someone else’s. It’s still free advertising when you discuss the game with friends or online.
I would argue that almost all professional football at this point is morally bankrupt. The German league may be the least at face value (50+1 ownership rules, genuine grassroots involvement etc.), but I’m sure it the owners of the clubs aren’t really interested in you or I at the end of the day.

This is the way. Those matches do not change anything, they are just spectacle to enrich the elites and dragnet innocents for ICE’s prisons. It makes absolutely no difference to watch the replay the day after or even the week after, when it will likely be more accessible and you won’t have to fight with the timetables, streams, etc.
