I don’t blame him in theory. Artists want to use state of the art tools to help realize their vision. They’re also (generally) very curious. If Leonardo had access to an Ipad he’d probably use it.

That said, I think we’ve reached a peak with AI. It’s just too exploitative. Given his history of championing the film industry/artists and craftspeople - I just can’t see him supporting AI in the long run.

As with everyone - he’s entitled to try it out, then come to his senses.
