With Whatsapp, Telegram and Instagram it took about 4gb for me. Privacy isn’t great, either, as you’re adding yet another closed source middle-man in your texting.

Beeper is a great option if you want all your chats unified in a single, customizable, native UI. But it’s not better than Whatsapp’s native app when it comes to RAM usage or privacy
