It’s kinda worse than the Titanic. At least then some of the “billionaires” of their day cared enough about their image that they voluntarily gave up their seats on rescue boats to women and children. Our billionaires know that the ship is sinking and have already hired goons to make sure they get a life raft all to themselves.

Billionaires know the boat is going down, they just think they’ll be able to buy their way out of a global catastrophe and don’t care what happens to anyone else.
