I’ve been playing Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead for hundreds of hours and haven’t paid a cent since it’s a free game, it’s updated daily and it can run on basically any PC since it’s an ASCII game. This is like complaining that it’s too expensive to get into woodworking because you have to buy a hammer.
And if you want to play the latest title with your friends, it’s going to be 1-2k on the hardware before you can even launch the game.
