      It’s flash frozen to make it safe, other wise you end up with parasites. Ergo it’s processed.

        Wild salmons are flash frozen to kill parasites. But I don’t think farmed salmons require that.

        actually i just checked and that’s not actually true. cheapest tomato sauce here: 0.70€ / 250 ml, makes 2.80€/kg. meanwhile fresh tomatoes: 10€/kg typically.

          wtf, do you live in like Svalbard or something? They are 2-4€ per kilo in the summer and 4-6€ in the winter in most places on the continent for normal truss tomatoes. I live in a country with very expensive food but basic Spanish tomatoes are 2€ right now in the cheaper supermarkets, and fancy tasty fleshy ones are like 5 or 6.
