The main point of Xbox’s new restrictions that they had been trying to introduce (that PlayStation was mocking here) was to provide a system which allows users to actually transfer digital games to other users. Sure, that system made transferring physical games more difficult, but at least it made transferring digital games actually possible at all, which is not something possible on PlayStation. But of course PlayStation tried to capitalize on that and focus on the limitation of that system.
